Arita ware (有田焼) was created over 400 years ago, and early types mostly consisted of blue designs on white or celadon porcelain. As the techniques evolved over time, designs began to be painted directly onto already fired and glazed ceramics in red, yellow, green, purple, gold, and silver enamels.
Produced by the Gyokuho kiln, this tea cup vessel is a great example of the more modern technique with classic Japanese patterns hand-painted all around the vessel in each of the traditional colors of underglaze. Nowadays, it is very difficult to find hand-painted vessels with that warm touch of the hand as many designs are now digitally printed or stamped.
Once the candle has finished burning, simply wash the vessel with warm soapy water and it’s ready to be reused as a tea cup or as an ice cream cup! It's the perfect size for one scoop!

Candle Care:
Burn the candle for a minimum of 2 hours to experience the candle’s full aroma and effect. For 100% essential oil blends, the candles do not contain any fragrance boosting chemicals so they may take a little more time to spread their scent.
Trim wicks to 0.25"/0.6cm each time before lighting.
Make sure to burn your candle on heat resistant surfaces!
All our candle vessels are reusable for a more environmentally-friendly candle burning experience. After the candle is finished burning, simply wash the vessel with warm water and dish soap.
