Arita ware (有田焼) was created over 400 years ago, and early types mostly consisted of blue designs on white or celadon porcelain. As the techniques evolved over time, designs were painted onto already fired and glazed ceramics in red, yellow, green, purple, with gold or silver enamels.

This elevated tea cup is painted with the the blue underglaze technique. It is adorned with traditional indigo ink which varies in texture, pattern and lightness of indigo.

Add some vintage Japanese flair to your coffee table or vanity tray with this stylish candle, and be sure to reuse the porcelain after the candle has finished burning!

Candle Care:
Burn the candle for a minimum of 2 hours to experience the candle’s full aroma and effect. For 100% essential oil blends, the candles do not contain any fragrance boosting chemicals so they may take a little more time to spread their scent.

Trim wicks to 0.25"/0.6cm each time before lighting.
Make sure to burn your candle on heat resistant surfaces!

All our candle vessels are reusable for a more environmentally-friendly candle burning experience. After the candle is finished burning, simply wash the vessel with warm water and dish soap.
