Imari ware refer to Japanese porcelain ware that were produced in Imari City in Saga Prefecture. The Kenzan kiln is one of the very few remaining kilns in Imari City today. The Japanese began making porcelain as a result of imports from South Korea and China and to this day the most popular/well-known types of Japanese porcelain ware are Arita ware and Imari ware which are neighboring cities in Saga prefecture.

Kobachi vessels were traditionally used to serve colorful small side dishes to eat along with rice, a plate of fish or meat and some miso soup.

When the candle has finished burning, simply wash out the vessel with dish soap and warm water to use your vintage vessel as tableware or to keep little trinkets on your vanity or use it as a cover pot for a small succulent!

Candle Care:
Burn the candle for a minimum of 2 hours to experience the candle’s full aroma and effect. For 100% essential oil blends, the candles do not contain any fragrance boosting chemicals so they may take a little more time to spread their scent.

Trim wicks to 0.25"/0.6cm each time before lighting.
Make sure to burn your candle on heat resistant surfaces!

All our candle vessels are reusable for a more environmentally-friendly candle burning experience. After the candle is finished burning, simply wash the vessel with warm water and dish soap.
