Arita ware (有田焼) was first created over 400 years ago and are traditionally white porcelain decorated under the glaze with a blue pigment. This particular shape is a soba choko (soba cup), which is used for the dipping sauce for soba noodles and drinking soba cha (soba tea) after the meal. Soba choko usually come in simpler shapes and design for practical reasons, and feature designs with plants, landscapes, mingei (folk crafts) or animals!
Don’t forget to reuse the cup once the candle has finished burning, simply wash with warm soapy water and you'll have soba choko for eating soba or get creative and use it as a tea cup or small cover pot for small plants.

Candle Care:
Burn the candle for a minimum of 2 hours to experience the candle’s full aroma and effect. For 100% essential oil blends, the candles do not contain any fragrance boosting chemicals so they may take a little more time to spread their scent.
Trim wicks to 0.25"/0.6cm each time before lighting.
Make sure to burn your candle on heat resistant surfaces!
All our candle vessels are reusable for a more environmentally-friendly candle burning experience. After the candle is finished burning, simply wash the vessel with warm water and dish soap.
